Copilot (beta)

An introduction to Spara's AI Copilot.

What is Copilot?

Copilot is an AI agent designed to assist GTM team members on video conferencing calls. Trained on all of your knowledge, Copilot listens quietly and answers any questions directed to it - simply say "Copilot" to wake it up.

Copilot is an AI assistant that joins your sales meetings to answer technical questions on demand. It joins as "ADP Copilot", listens silently to the entire conversation, and only speaks when you address it with the name "Copilot". It can search your knowledge base to provide accurate, contextual answers.

Preparing for a Meeting

Before inviting Copilot to a meeting, you can enrich its context with lead information:

  1. Navigate to the Copilot page in your dashboard

  2. In the "Have Copilot join a meeting" panel, enter the lead's email address (optional but recommended)

  3. The system will check Salesforce for existing contact information

  4. ✅ Lead found = Copilot will have enriched context about this prospect

  5. ❌ Lead not found = Copilot will still work, but with less personalized context

Inviting Copilot to join a meeting

  1. Enter the video conferencing meeting URL in the meeting URL field

    1. Copilot supports Zoom, Google Meet, and Cisco Webex meetings

  2. Add the lead's email if you have it (improves context and syncs to Salesforce)

  3. Click "Join meeting"

  4. Admit Copilot to the meeting.

  5. ADP Copilot joins as a participant in your Webex meeting

  6. Brief meeting participants that an AI assistant will be present to help answer technical questions

During the meeting

When you need assistance during the meeting:

  1. Ask your question: Begin your question by saying “Copilot…”. Speak naturally, referencing the ongoing conversation

    1. Ex. "Copilot, what are our state unemployment tax requirements for Georgia-based businesses?"

  2. Get an answer: Copilot responds concisely using conversation context and your knowledge base

  3. Continue the meeting: Copilot returns to listening mode

  4. Removing Copilot: if you decide you no longer need Copilot in the meeting, simply remove it via the Webex UI.

Key behaviors:

  • Copilot hears everything said before you activate it (provides context-aware answers)

  • Won't ask follow-up questions or interrupt unless activated

  • Only responds when you say "Copilot" followed by your question

After the Meeting

View your meeting history on the Copilot page:

  • Call details: ID, status, start time, duration, who initiated

  • Recording: Play back audio of the session

  • Transcript: See questions asked to Copilot with timestamps and responses

Common Troubleshooting

Issue

Solution

Copilot won't join meeting

Verify Webex URL is complete and valid.

No response to "Copilot"

Pause and speak clearly when addressing Copilot and asking your question; avoid interrupting copilot as its generating its answer.

Missing lead context

Confirm lead email was entered and exists in Salesforce

Copilot is unresponsive or frozen.

Try removing Copilot from the meeting and resending it to your meeting link.

Best Practices

  • Enter lead email when available for better context and automatic Salesforce sync

  • Use specific questions ("What's our SSO implementation process?") rather than vague ones

  • Clearly begin your question with “Copilot…” to activate properly.
